Our Services

Group classes aren’t for everyone. For example, when you’re brand new to CrossFit and weightlifting, the best way to get you started is with one-on-one training sessions where we can dedicate 100% of our attention to you. One-on-one training sessions are also perfect for athletes who have hit a plateau or need to work on a specific skill or movement that’s holding them back. Check out our solo training sessions below for more details!

    In our CrossFit classes, elements of gymnastics, Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, sprinting, rowing and jumping are all combined into one program to help you achieve elite fitness. This is the only program capable of simultaneously developing your endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination, and accuracy.

    All of these principles are applied to a small group class where training with your friends does more than make the experience a ton of fun. Our CrossFit classes are all about team spirit and motivation. Whether you consider yourself a competitive CrossFitter or not, seeing others around you perform will instinctively push you to be your very best. Training with others also holds you accountable to staying on track. Miss a workout? It probably won’t go unnoticed. Chances are, you’ll get texts and Facebook messages from your buddies asking where you are. If you are having trouble getting motivated or have a tendency to fall off of the fitness wagon, then this is the place for you.

    Here at Faction, we take it a step further than your average gym. With all of the elements of CrossFit in mind, we focus on the underlying reason of WHY. Why do we do this? We do this because we are passionate about helping you be the very best that you can be! Every one of our members will sit down with a coach and discuss goals and the path to achieving them.     Our Olympic Weightlifting classes are perfect for athletes who are looking to develop explosive power, mobility, technical skill and to master the snatch and the clean & jerk. We have some of the best Olympic weightlifters and most experienced weightlifting coaches in the Memphis area. We also have a dedicated room in our facility equipped with all the necessary training equipment you would need to hone your weightlifting technique.

    If it is your goal to be the best YOU that you can be then this is it. Olympic lifting requires flexibility, speed, power, coordination, all combined into 2 movements. We encourage all of our athletes to give this class a try.


    Don’t mistake our friendly faces for lack of a serious and competitive side. We’ve sent a team to the CrossFit Games’ Regionals in 2012 and we’re planning to go again! If you are interested in joining our competition training program now or in the future, contact David to find out what it takes. The Competition class isn’t for everyone – it requires a pre-screening before participating as it is considered a high level class with certain requirements and time commitments.


    The Faction Fundamentals course is our exciting introduction to the world of CrossFit, weightlifting and your new active lifestyle. It will prepare you to reach your highest possible level of fitness. 10-15 sessions is required for anyone who is new to the CrossFit and weightlifting methodologies. Faction Fundamentals is such an effective course that we actually sell it to other CrossFit gyms to help on-ramp their new members.

    Our primary goal in these one-on-one sessions is to prepare you to join the group CrossFit and weightlifting classes with confidence. We will identify your own unique strengths and weaknesses, some of which are yet unknown, to hone preexisting skills and begin to improve on the things that are holding back your athletic ability. First, you will learn how to lift safely and efficiently with lighter weight. Our focus will be on developing a strong technical base. We will slowly add more movements and heavier weight once you are ready.

    Each session will end with a metcon (a heart pumping work out) which will allowing us to measure your progress. Under our guidance, you’ll have the chance to push yourself and put your new skills to the test. This program brings results! During the course of your Fundamental training, your body will begin to rapidly change. We’ll encourage you to take before and after pictures to help capture your transformation.


    We understand that group classes aren’t for everyone. Some benefit more in a one-on-one atmosphere. Some have specific objectives that aren’t always met in the class programming. Perhaps you’ve reached an athletic plateau or you are not be making the type of progress you would like to be making. If any of these are something you can relate to, then consider joining us for a personal training session.

    These sessions are the most effective and efficient way to achieve your personal fitness goals – especially when the WOD is just not enough to get you to where you want to be. One of the Faction coaches will work with you to help define your goals, conduct a comprehensive assessment of your fitness level, and train you through a program designed specifically for your needs.
