EDUCATION
The most important function of the Faction Coaching Staff is to teach you not only how to exercise, but also why the chosen exercise is beneficial for your goals.  Our goal is to educate you so well that you eventually won't need us anymore and can take the wheel yourself!  

HISTORY

In November 2007, Mike Bledsoe, Rob Conner and John O'Neal opened CrossFit Memphis.  Since that time the demand for CrossFit training and thus CrossFit Community as a whole has grown considerably.  What started as an empty warehouse has grown into a comprehensive training facility with multiple programs from which to choose.  

FACILITIES
Faction Strength and Conditioning has approximately 3,500 sq/ft of training space.  The facility is split into 3 main rooms.  The front room is primarily dedicated to CrossFit training and metabolic conditioning.  The equipment used for CrossFit consists of individual platforms, barbells, bumper plates, pull-up bars, rings, row machines, kettlebells and medicine balls.  

The back room and powerlifting room are both dedicated primarily to strength and power development.  Equipment includes Olympic platforms, deadlift platform, squat cage, multiple squat racks, specialty bars (safety bar, buffalo bar, cambered squat bar, etc...), jerk boxes, manual monolift, chains, bands, 20 yards of AstroTurf, prowler sled, dumbbells and lots of iron plates. 

Our staff is dedicated to teaching every member how to get the most out of the available equipment.  You don't find any fancy, over-the-top machines in here!  All you'll find is hard working people who get results through intelligent exercise programming and consistent dietary practices!
